4. Reeves-Reed Arboretum

Simply exquisite, this activity center at 165 Hobart Avenue is a nature lover’s dream. With little effort, your loved one can stroll the historic grounds with gorgeous winding paths, vibrant landscapes, and display gardens. The center also has a hike map to help guide your loved one if he or she decides to go for a walk on the woodland trails. Many of the indoor and outdoor areas have ramps and paved trails for easy maneuverability, which gives seniors with physical challenges the chance to tour the breathtaking grounds.

5. Memorial Field

Located on Ashland Road, this is one of Summit’s most popular parks. It features three baseball fields, eight tennis courts, a playground to bring the grandkids, and a quarter-mile track where your loved one can go on an easy yet pleasurable nature walk. During the stroll, your loved one can enjoy people watching and the beautiful surroundings.
